Proverbs 10:14 says, “Wise people store up knowledge, But the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.”

Knowledge is readily available from any number of sources. Yet it seems in our world that most are happy walking around in the dark. If that is not bad enough, most people walking around in the dark are the same ones using their mouth to “teach” others. We need to be people who love truth and knowledge. When we store up knowledge and use it with wisdom we then will excel and be able to help others.

I agree...yet this is the only gun forum I have ever seen that allows religious discussions. Maybe that is part of the problem with attitudes on other forums. I love the gunhive community. Great people. Great attitude. And accountability for what is said.

  • A common problem is that so many look at knowledge and truth as being synonymous. One can have full knowledge about something that simply isn't true. And there's good reason why there's a saying about how a little knowledge can be dangerous thing with regards to understanding.

  • If you need wisdom, askGod and he will give it to you. James 1:5. The problem is not asking God for his guidance. God bless all the Hive members.

Wisdom is one of the few things that God has GUARANTEED to grant us simply by asking...and He does so. It also follows that when there is very little wisdom in the world...there are also very few Godly people in the world.

  • The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance; it is the illusion of knowledge.

  • People are not often ready for true revelations. They claim to be, but they resist everything at first.

I've been telling the truth about complex matters for years. Nearly two decades. If people would just listen and do what I say, they'd find immediate ease of use and success.

Yet there is a key problem with just listening to someone else: If it comes easy, it has no value. This is human nature. If someone has to work hard at something, they take pride in it. It holds more value than something they are given. This is due to the greed-based selfish nature of people. Folks want to be seen as hard working and accomplished. They don't really care about the result, as long as they can be seen "trying hard."

Far more people resist my help than embrace it. Far more.

    It's not because of me.

    It's because of them.

They would say, if I only presented information the way THEY want it presented, they wouldn't resist.

Think on that for a moment.
