Romans 8:33-34 reads, “Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”

These verses bring about the realization that we ultimately answer to God and God alone. He asks the rhetorical question, “who shall bring a charge against God’s elect?” There is no one who has the authority to bring a charge against God’s people. God is the one who condemns. Christ is the one who died to justify us. Therefore there is not a single accusation of man that can stand in the presence of God! I am thankful that we have a judge that is perfect and just. I am thankful that we have a savior that is forgiving and full of grace.
