2 Timothy 2:2 says, “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”Truth is often times killed by the silence of believers. Paul here tells Timothy exactly how truth is to be taught. Timothy is to take that truth that Paul taught him and teach it to faithful me who will be able to teach others also. There are at least four generations of truth being taught in this verse.
Knowing truth and following truth are important. Yet in order for truth to spread and remain alive we must be willing to teach truth to others. Let us not be the ones to kill truth through our own silence. Let us continually find people who want to know about God and teach them the truth from His word so that they can teach others also!
