Ideas/Suggestions for First Aid kit

Hey guys, since I got a new back pack, I want to put together a first aid kit. I want a kit that I can just leave in the bag and know its there anytime I need it. My main use of this bag will be a range bag, but also used for a day bag for hunts, or general hiking. I'm also trying to keep it small. My main concreans are cuts, scrapes, wound control.
So I know a small first aid bandage kit would be a start, but what else? What do you guys carry?
