Job 28:20-28 says, “From where then does wisdom come? And where is the place of understanding? It is hidden from the eyes of all living, And concealed from the birds of the air. Destruction and Death say, ‘We have heard a report about it with our ears.’ God understands its way, And He knows its place. For He looks to the ends of the earth, And sees under the whole heavens, To establish a weight for the wind, And apportion the waters by measure. When He made a law for the rain, And a path for the thunderbolt, Then He saw wisdom and declared it; He prepared it, indeed, He searched it out. And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.’”

True, unlimited wisdom is something that is only known by God. He sees from one side of the earth to the other and everything that goes on under the sky. He decided the “weight of the wind” or how hard the wind should blow. He divided the water to where it should be. He decides when it will rain and when it won’t. He makes a pathway for the thunderbolt.

Each of these things are so simple, yet they are things with which we have absolutely no control over. God knows and decides each of these things and there is nothing we can do to control it.

Our wisdom is not all encompassing. Yet our wisdom is from God. This type of wisdom only comes when we fear God and leave sin behind.

There is and always has been great wisdom available from God,..yet we must turn to God for that wisdom. It requires that we trust Him and obey him.
