Recipe for30-06

Does anyone have a recipe for 30-06 using 175 SMKs.
I've got Imr 4064 and H4350. Looking for hunting groups out of a Howa 1500 24" 1/10 for shots inside 300yds. Got some federal brass and thought I'd load up the emptys if I don't have to get a dedicated powder for just a couple of boxes. Got loads for both powders, just wondering if someone worked a load using these two powders.

This is off of the imr/hodgdon website. I would be reluctant to use another persons load without working up powder anyway.

I did get those from the website, but thanks, I was just curious if anyone did a work up with those two powders and found that one worked better than the other.
Since I'm using federal brass, I didn't want use up the limited number of reloads before the primer pockets gave out.

I feel your pain, I’ve had federal brass that’s primer pockets that wouldn’t hardly hold the primer under it’s on weight after the first firing from the factory

The factory doesn't have handloaders in mind fellas. They expect them to be dumped on the ground. ... and would actually prefer that's what you do, so you have to come buy more. hehe

I've reloaded Fed GMM 308 and if I recall correctly, I think I got 4-5 out of federal brass. If you are only getting 1, it might be something you're doing. You loading them crazy hot?

No this was after the first firing from the factory, not after a reload. Some of them I did get a few firings out of but others were junk from the get go

Creedmoor Sports is loading his Garand loads in either Lapua brass or his private label brass.
I have the Lapua on the second go around now..
