Interesting new action from BAT

Sure is a different looking critter! I'm a big fan of BAT actions. They have the best bolt lift ergo's I've ever experienced on a rifle. This one here looks to be aimed directly at benchrest shooters, but innovation is innovation.

Yet to find a better bolt lift than a Bat VR.

What do you mean by a better bolt lift? Is it really smooth? Does it distribute the bolt cocking force in a different way? I'm just learning about custom actions and I'm curious.

Smooth yes, but also light and the rest of the bolt throw sequence doesn't bind or hitch so that you do not disrupt NPA while cycling the bolt. BAT is basically the reigning champion regarding bolt lift. There is much more to an action, but this specific aspect is of paramount importance for accurate follow up shots.
