Trim lenght consistency

I’ve posted before how much I hate trimming brass, which got me to thinking. I keep trim all my brass to +/- .001 and that has worked very well for me, but is a major pain in the ass to maintain. What kind of tolerances are you guys running with good results?

I use a giraud trimmer too but still have to check each piece, if not some will end up about .004 long. Never have any end up short unless the shoulder bump is off.

I'm usually +/- .002 using my Lyman power trimmer. I keep a case for each round that's trimmed to spec so I can just set the trimmer off that piece each time.
