Titus 2:11-13 says, “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
[12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
[13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;”These verses reveal the reality of the grace of God. Grace is that which God offers to man that we do not deserve. It is only through His grace that we can have salvation and a hope of heaven. This grace is available to ALL men...yet the sad reality is that not all will receive His grace.
His grace teaches us things too. His grace teaches us to live righteously and Godly. Living right takes effort and work and is something we must do in order to receive His saving grace.
Grace brings salvation. Grace teaches us how to live. Grace also gives us vision. We must live our life looking towards heaven. When we realize that eternity is coming and heaven is waiting for us then it will help us keep our priorities right. It is easier to do what is right when we know heaven is the reward. It is easier to deal with the unfairness of this life when we know heaven is coming.
Grace is very important and cannot be bought. It brings salvation. It teaches us to live right. It gives us vision for eternity.
