6 Dasher or 6x47

I’m contemplating a new build in a 6mm and am torn between these two. I have no experience with either and am looking for advice. I currently run a 6.5x47 that I absolutely love so that’s what steered me towards the 6x47. This rifle would be used for PRS matches and the occasional FPR class Fclass match.

Easy, 6mm Dasher.
The 6x47 is inherently picky and a tuning nightmare. It's too big to effectively run Varget in and too small for the right load of H4350. Plus you're lucky to see much past 1200 rounds of barrel life.

Thanks for the heads up. What kind of barrel life is average for the dasher?

Typically going to see 2000-2500. I wouldn't pull my own with less than 2000 and I also wouldn't run it past 2500

It is as the man says. 6 Dasher will rule PRS in 2018 even more than it ruled PRS in 2017... and for many very good reasons.
Our mag kits solved the dasher repeater issue, and TS Customs builds laser dashers with boring regularity.

@orkan I have an early version mag replacement for the 6 br. Did you make changes from the earlier mag conversion?

@tpk936 There has only ever been one revision of mag kit from Primal Rights. The design has remained unchanged since it's release.
