Attempt to free float magnetospeed sporter

I used a shelf support like this
a scope ring and a few washers.
I've cut the shelf support and drilled 3 holes, one to attach the magnetospeed and two to screw the ring. I have only shot twice with it and only got a reading, it bounces a lot after the shot and need to readjust after every shot but I think it will work better with another washer or two.

Adjusted the height and it worked flawlessly, well I had to readjust the alignment before each shot.

Dang! it's $124.99 I'm not sure it will work with the sporter.
