  • So I’m writing this so that know one else has to deal with this. So last night I get home from a long day of working about a 14 hour day. I got home and put my son to bed and put my range put together. I have my standard stuff plus three pistols in the backpack. I thought I would save some time and put pre pack the truck and I put my bag in the front seat of the truck. This is where I made my first mistake by leaving firearms in my truck. Second mistake is I did not double check that my truck was locked. I wake up and get ready to take my son to school get him in the truck and go to my door and notice it’s a mess in the front seat and everything is open. Backpack is gone and a few other things are missing. Lesson learned is it does not matter how safe your area is it’s not worth putting your guns in the vehicle the night before.

  • Man really sorry to hear that.

If I load up the night before I park in the garage.

  • Thieves are worthless pieces of shit.

  • Yup, exactly why I don’t plaster my truck in decals either.

This. NRA sticker in the window says, “gun inside”.

  • It's also worth mentioning that if you are out in town, carrying as most of us do, that you should strive to be the "grey man". Unassuming, easy to miss, just another "joe". Far too often I see folks wearing all the 2A shirts and other shirts that have become popular over the past 5 years....to me, it just seems like an advertisement. It's almost as if you are telling everyone "I carry" or if /when something does go down, and you're wearing shirts or dressed in your tacticool gear, it just makes it that much harder to avoid the assumption that you are out looking to fight. I don't know, just my .02

    Bingo. EXACTLY!!!

I've got 2 stickers on my truck. Fla highway patrol supporter and I watch for motorcycles. Vortex gave me a bunch of stickers when I bought my Razor. Don't think I got a sticker with my TT
