Now I have to build a rifle for the class ... I do not happen to own a short action bolt gun that shoots sub MOA :DBut I think I can throw one together in time .. though not the one I would want if I had more time :)
But I think I can be there with a qualifying stick :)

I also bet @tscustoms can build you a Fusion...maybe before then.

I stayed at super 8. It was ok, but nothing to write home about...kinda like all super 8’s. It also was not within walking distance of that is something you are looking for.
33 3rd is where we met for classroom time.
DONT TAKE AMMO INTO CLASSROOM!!!

I made my reservations for the Quality Inn (thought it was the Super 8). I think I was told the Crossroads Hotel and Event Center was within walking distance if that is something you are concerned about.

I'll be rolling on the ground ... driving ... so I can actually act as a cab for one other person who needs such.

Yes, it is the only hotel I'm aware of which is within walking distance.

I think you've got yourself pretty well covered for whatever comes.
We've got your food covered on Saturday (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and Sunday (breakfast and lunch). We'll have plenty of water on hand as well.

I am driving to SD and will be there on Thursday. My friend is flying into Sioux Falls airport at noon on Friday. If anyone needs a ride from that airport, or a ride from the Quality Inn for classes, we will have some room.

I recall on some forum somewhere there was a discussion about avoiding the Indian reservations in SD due to the corrupt cops, etc. Where are those reservations located? It looks like I will be heading north on I-29 into Sioux Falls, but there are multiple ways to get to Huron from there. Any recommendations on which way to go, or to avoid?

I-90 west from Sioux Falls to Mitchell, 37 North to Huron.

Those of you getting here early, be sure to stop by the office and get your paperwork out of the way. Then if you'd like to go out and shoot, we can make that happen. :)

I didn't know the hotels were known for bed bug problems here. That is very useful information. Yet another thing we can thank the local Karen population for, since they seem to have brought an abundance of cockroaches and bed bugs to rental properties in the area.
I've found reviews that claim bed bugs for both the Super 8 and Best Western.
