  • Last night I was in a bit of pain and debating whether or not to take some Aleeve. I decided to give my essential oils a whirl first...using Wintergreen, Lemongrass, Frankincense, Rosemary and Peppermint in fractionated coconut oil. I mixed up it up real good, applied it to my sore joint and almost instantly the pain started residing. I'm continuously amazed at the power of Essential Oils. I highly recommend you add this to your medicine cabinet.

    Carrier oil of your choice
    Sweet Almond Oil
    Coconut Oil
    Avocado Oil
    Olive Oil

    • Pour about 1-ounce carrier oil in a small container, add your desired oils, mix well and apply to sore area(s)

If you'd like to make more of a balm:

    .25 ounce of cacao butter
.5 ounce (or 1/8 cups) of beeswax

Put the cacao butter and the beeswax in a small pot and heat on low until melted and blended together. Don’t get it too hot. Just enough to melt. Allow cooling for a few minutes. Don’t let it start thickening though. Add the essential oils to the mixture. Stir. Pour into an old jar. Scoop a small amount and rub in deeply.

  • My wife is into the essential oils as well. There's been more than one occasion where they have worked for me as well. I couldn't sleep when I was offshore so she packed a diffuser in my bag with several different oils and I can say, that they do work...great write up!

Anyone can get angry — that is easy — or give or spend money; but to do this to the right person, to the right extent, at the right time, with the right motive, and in the right way, that is not for everyone, nor is it easy.
