Tennessee Hearing Protection Act

I don't know exactly what this means...but it doesn't sound bad. I can't imagine that this law will legalize silencers outside of federal law...but the legalization of dope in colorado says that it might.
Now maybe our governor will have enough backbone to sign the thing.
BTW-- Enjoy the inaccurate statements made by some who claim to know what they are talking about.

Wow. Common sense prevails. Go Tennessee.
I'm convinced the statements I hear from people about "lessen the range of the gun" or "reduce the power of the gun" comes from people who's only experience with guns or suppressors comes from playing Call of Duty.

Holy crap, the most ridiculous statements come from a Marine and Army vet.

Every single gun control debate should go like this:
Anti-gunner - "We need to ban guns!!!!"
Pro-gunner - "Is it illegal to kill people?"
Anti - "yes"
Pro - "Illegal to kill people with, anything?"
Anti - "yes"
Pro - "Then if it's already illegal to kill someone, how can it be MORE illegal to kill someone with a gun and how is a law of ANY kind going to stop it when they are already breaking the most sacred of laws?"The ENTIRE discussion around gun control is flawed from its inception, and the stupid shit is perpetuated by idiots on BOTH sides.

I can't believe they are using those cases to claim that silencers are used in crimes. Two cases in what...70 years. And one of them was a police officer at that.

That is almost a word for word quote from a sheriff I worked for in AZ.
