Regardless of your feelings regarding Afghanistan, it's always sad when it happens. This is numbers 2 and 3 this year.
50 Rangers and 40 Afghan commandos assaulted the cave complex where the MOAB got dropped earlier this month to roll up some towel head pipe hitter. It turned into a 3 hour gunfight.
The Army is investigating this as friendly fire.
