  • Thanks Orkan. These rifles are a work of art.The second one from top is sweet.I see you likeTangent Theta glass. The TT315M seems perfect for the build Travis is going to do for me.What makes the TT scopes stand out above other top name brands? And what can you tell me about the TT315M.

I can't give you a comparison to other top brands as I don't have any other top tier scope...but I do have the TT315. There are many features that this scope has that I love. Toolless rezero is very nice. Turret clicks are extremely crisp. Double turn turrets with a rev marker make it almost impossible to get lost in the turrets. Auto setting zero stop. Zero the scope and the zero stop is set. Very forgiving parallax. It is almost non existent past 250 yards. Glass so clear that I can see individual blades of grass at 400 yards on a clear day. I love the TT525...but the 315 is actually my favorite. I have the 525 on my 308 and a matching 315 on my 40x.

TT scopes are simply the tip of the pyramid. There is nothing above them, presently. Tracking, RTZ, glass, illumination, etc... all done better than the competition's scopes at any price point. It's hard to describe really,... just something that has to be experienced. @dddoo7 will tell you, I tried to explain it to him... but it wasn't until after he had one that it all really made sense. Now, I bet you couldn't pry his TT's away from him with a baseball bat.

We are a top tier dealer for TT's, so I can tell you anything you want to know about the 315M. I have been using it exclusively for nearly 2 years on my primary predator hunting rigs as well as several of my varmint rifles. I love the positive clicks in the turrets, bomb-proof tracking, and fantastic performance-to-weight ratio.

If there's something specific you would like to know, just ask. Feel free to give me a call at the office sometime if you'd prefer to discuss via conversation.

    Thank you,

Just to clarify, @tscustoms was also critical in the creation of the repeater conversion. Travis's CNC power and knowledge made opening those receivers up a breeze.

  • I got "the call" this week. One of my two favorite kinds, when a build is done or an NFA item has been approved.
The general specs are McM Gamewardern stock, bighorn TL3 LA w/apa knob, hardy CF bbl, 22" 1:8, timney trigger, Surgeon bottom metal,TBAC brake(for an ultra). Me likey a lot, but I'm a little bias!alt text

  • Nice rifle. :)

  • Here is the first Rig I had Travis do, to say I'm pleased would be an understatement. He did the barreled action and installed the bottoms metal. Great guys to deal with!
    6 Creedmoor
    Lone Peak Razor Ti
    Proof with TB brake
    Manners EH1
    Hawkins bottom metal
    Hawkins 20moa rings
    Huskemaw 5-20x50

  • How's that proof barrel shooting for you?

  • I honestly have just shot it about five times trying some of that modern spartan systems oil. I need to take it out and run some factory horandy through it now that I have some. I'll report back, I have faith it'll be fantastic.

  • @orkan what is the weight on that TT? Say something in the 3-xx & a 5-xx?

  • @iclimb The 315M weighs 30'ish ounces while the 525P weighs 40'ish.

  • @iclimb You better get your firearm profile filled out and get some rounds through this thing with some range reports! I just added your build to the gunhive.com home page. ;)
