Forced log out-mobile

The site seems to log me off automatically every week or so, then prompts me to log back in.
For example I was looking at a page half an hour ago. I opened the "frequently visited" gunhive tab in safari on my phone and went straight to my account and was able to browse the forum normally.
Just now, repeating the above process, gunhive asked me to log back in and promoted me for a password and to authorize access to the forums.
It seems to do this to me at random every week or so.
iPhone 6 and safari, but I've had it happen on the PC as well.

Security features. Logins can't hold indefinitely. It happens randomly to ensure user accounts have not been compromised.
