Sweet and Spicy Garlic Marinade

  • Sweet and Spicy Garlic Marinade

    1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
    1/4 cup soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
    4 Tablespoons minced garlic
    2 Tablespoons honey
    2 Tablespoons olive oil
    2 teaspoons black pepper
    2 Tablespoons Sweet Thai Chili Sauce
    2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
    2 teaspoons onion powder
    Pinch of salt
    1 teaspoon liquid smoke
    2 pounds steaks

    Mix all of your ingredients together. Put steaks in a container or Ziploc bag and pour marinade over them. Make sure the steaks are evenly covered. Put in fridge for 4-6 hours minimum, preferably a couple days. Rotate the steaks half way through the marinade. Grill or bake to desired doneness. Enjoy!

    ** I'm grilling some Top Sirloins tonight that have been soaking in this goodness since this morning. Will update with pictures.

  • I forgot to take a picture. I cooked them too soon, should have let them sit overnight instead of 6 hours before cooking to let the flavors penetrate more. The first layer of the steak was delish, but not enough flavor to not need additional sauce.
