Shot some rimfire this month.

This is just what was shot inside on my bench during the month of march. Maybe 100-150rnds or so in there that belong to others, but otherwise all mine. There is probably nearly as much laying outside on the ground that didn't get picked up. That's a 6 quart tote. ;)

So that is what I need to shoot like if I really want to raise my rimfire challenge scores?
Up until a year ago...a brick of 22's would last me about a year. Now...between the 40x and my pistol I go through a brick every couple weeks....but 6 qts is still a year's worth for me.

No. Most places don't take things with explosive residue in them.

It can't hurt. Round count is one thing. Purposeful rounds is entirely another. Most of those empty cases had an honest shot that accompanied them. It takes a lot of purposeful repetition to interface the instinctive portions of our minds.
