PRS team standings

I like my Surgeons, but I hope TS Customs climbs up the board this year :+1:

I saw that today too, pretty neat to see TS Customs up there, IIRC they did well last year to.

You have to remember that points and standings in that game are very much a game within themselves. If TS Customs and team were to attend more shoots, they'd have more points. However if you consider where the majority of the shoots are, it's a HUGE commitment in money, resources, and mainly - time, to attend those shoots. The majority of them are in the southwest. It is an entire day just to get there, and an entire day to get back, as well as the 2 days of shooting.
That's 4 days that customers rifles aren't being built. If they attend 5 shoots, that's 2/3 of a month gone. It is my belief that Team TS Customs has some of the best shooters in the nation, and if they chose to devote the kind of time necessary, they would be unbeatable. However, they are very down-to-earth people, which is why we like them so much. Winning is fun, but some things are more important.

Yup, that thought has also come to mind.
One of several reasons PRS isn't appealing to me, to much travel.
I know of two that wouldn't be bad, Breakneck in SW Nebraska, And that SD one you ROed last year.
But even then, get a PRS membership for two matches? No thanks.
It would be neat to shoot, fun, but it's not practical.
