Damn this website....

  • for making me smarter about my purchases. I had a few bucks from selling some misc parts and I was really considering buying a bench top primer. Now I didn't have enough cash for a CPS lite, so I thought well maybe I'll buy this primer instead. I knew that if I did I would have regretted it and wished I had just waited to buy the CPS lite. So thats what I did.

I bought more bullets. More bullets means more practice.

So thanks for making me self aware and teaching me not to buy crap.

I'm lucky enough to have had Orkan introduce me to long range shooting. My first center fire rifle was built by TS Customs. Those two have saved me thousands in random gear or "shiny" items. When that much knowledge is available, I don't know how someone wouldn't be happy with the end results.

  • Happy to be of service. Just to forewarn you, if you buy the CPS lite, eventually you'll wish you bought the full version. ;)

I have had both and this is true. The lite is good...but the full version is much better.

  • @orkan

I have no doubt that both are extremely nice. I would recommend that he gets a Giraud first but that is just me.

  • @jibnast while that is also another want on my list, the setup I have now no longer causes me pain in my prep process. Priming is the current headache.

  • Both are on my list as well.

I have an annealer coming tomorrow.

I only reload for really one cartridge so I'm thinking one of the cheap giraud trimmers. I can whip something up to simulate the full size one.

I primer on my Forster for now, that's a pain.

  • @rhyno

    what annealer did you order?

Do you have a CPS and a Giraud?

You don't have to trim every firing. You need to prime every firing.

    An annealeez.

It should work for my needs, since I'll only use it for myself.

    It should be here tomorrow.
