The link passed on to every pro 2nd. amendment person I know.
I would expect the NRA and assorted other pro gun groups to send out a "calls to action"
with the petition link. But maybe passage would be bad for for their business.

This was the first I heard of it and after signing I posted the link on SF and 2AHawaii forums.
I emailed club members also.
If I were one to have any social media I would post on that also.

It's my understanding that there are a lot of rich and powerful people and companies with a great deal of money invested in NFA items that are focused on keeping the NFA intact to ensure the value of their investments. Tough to win when a portion of "gun guys" are helping the anti-gun side:-(

And in this case, it's something so simple and easy to do, there's really no excuse. Especially with the millions of people who own guns, even if only 2% are online, that should be easily 50K+ signatures in no time. Pathetic.

That is quite possibly the most disgusting of all excuses. Cuts to the very heart of the matter. No one wants to endure even the slightest discomfort in exchange for their freedom. They think the fight for freedom ended before they were born. Everyone is happy to just lay around and endure ANY constitutional injustice so long as they get to watch their fucking football games on TV.

Only 10,818 signatures needed to roll over the 100 grand number for a White House response.
Should easily hit that with a little over a week left.

@mamalukino There's an additional 400 since you posted that total a little over 30 mins ago. Hopefully it will make it to 100K, although it should be 10X that.

@orkan Everyone of these agencies are appointed positions. We the voters can not hold them accountable and they can rule with absolute power. Our founding fathers are rolling over in their graves.

Did anyone ever hear back about this? All those who signed were supposed to hear back from the white house within 60 days of getting the 100k signatures.
