Repeal the NFA

  • It's a petition.

    It's just your digital signature.

It's only 5 minutes of your life.

If you can't be troubled to support the cause of freedom when it's this easy, I have no use for you. No one has any use for you.

  • signed. Way too easy to support.

  • I signed it. I don't have high hopes...but I signed it.

At this point I would like to see even some small movements in the right direction.

  • Signed, let's get this out everywhere.

Exactly. Hope isn't required. Effort is.

  • Signed...

  • Done.
The link passed on to every pro 2nd. amendment person I know.
I would expect the NRA and assorted other pro gun groups to send out a "calls to action"
with the petition link. But maybe passage would be bad for for their business.

  • Good grief! It's too bad this one hasn't reached the 100k threshold(and beyond) at the same blistering pace those Trump related ones have. :unamused:

  • This was the first I heard of it and after signing I posted the link on SF and 2AHawaii forums.
    I emailed club members also.
If I were one to have any social media I would post on that also.

  • Signed it this morning. I'm going to send it out to everyone I know.

  • Signed it.
It's my understanding that there are a lot of rich and powerful people and companies with a great deal of money invested in NFA items that are focused on keeping the NFA intact to ensure the value of their investments. Tough to win when a portion of "gun guys" are helping the anti-gun side:-(

  • 5 mins?: Heck, it took me 20 secs. Signed.

  • A whopping 6,000 signatures thus far.

Boy, gun owners sure like freedom! /sarcasm.

People and all their posturing about how much of a patriot they are. Such bullshit.

The apathy disgusts me. This is how the scum bags have gotten control.

  • “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” - Edmund Burke

And in this case, it's something so simple and easy to do, there's really no excuse. Especially with the millions of people who own guns, even if only 2% are online, that should be easily 50K+ signatures in no time. Pathetic.

  • It's funny. I sent the link to my buddies and one wrote back "that will put you on A list".

    Two things:

To be scared of being on a list is where we are in this fucking country.

Your on the fucking list anyway.

  • That is quite possibly the most disgusting of all excuses. Cuts to the very heart of the matter. No one wants to endure even the slightest discomfort in exchange for their freedom. They think the fight for freedom ended before they were born. Everyone is happy to just lay around and endure ANY constitutional injustice so long as they get to watch their fucking football games on TV.

  • Give them a boob tube (TV) a six pack and a doobie and you can screw them over 6 ways to Sunday and they will thank you for it.

  • No they fight.
Just to oppress your free speech and constitutional right.

Try to take them from you as fast as possible.

I just avoided riot on the way home because a bunch of snowflakes didn't want to hear what was going to be said. This country is starting to remind me of Iraq

  • Signed! you guys all need to just go through the petitions/whitehouse.gov site and check out the list of all available petitions to sign. There are some more that need all our attention.

  • I'm not sure if this article got posted elsewhere on the site:

    http://www.recoilweb.com/whats-quieting-the-silencer-industry-126010.html

But I thought it had a lot of interesting quotes about the state of the suppressor industry and the Hearing Protection Act.

  • Only 10,818 signatures needed to roll over the 100 grand number for a White House response.

Should easily hit that with a little over a week left.

  • @mamalukino There's an additional 400 since you posted that total a little over 30 mins ago. Hopefully it will make it to 100K, although it should be 10X that.

  • Got the signatures, now let's see what happens.....

  • Looks like they are up to something again. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2017/03/20/wipes-silencer-parts/

  • By "up to something" do you mean being complete fucking nazi's? These alphabet agencies need to be destroyed. They just make shit up as they go along and are the unrelenting enemies of freedom.

  • @orkan Everyone of these agencies are appointed positions. We the voters can not hold them accountable and they can rule with absolute power. Our founding fathers are rolling over in their graves.

  • Did anyone ever hear back about this? All those who signed were supposed to hear back from the white house within 60 days of getting the 100k signatures.
