USMC optic covers

Anyone in the market for a good set of scope covers?
They are not mine and I don't know the seller...I just thought it was interesting how much 4 extra letters are worth.

To some people those aren't just letters...
But I should add that I don't see the significance either. I suspect the people who understand the significance won't be the ones buying it.

I did not intend disrespect to the USMC. I just thought it interesting that those letters are what made the caps so valuable. Since receiving my 40x with a USMC stamp I have taken an interest in USMC stamped guns.
This is one I would like to have...but I have other things I
Would rather spend money on.

Oh no I wasn't implying you were disrespecting the Marine Corps, and you're right, its interesting the value people put on little details.
The USMC stamp on the 40X probably adds a couple hundred to the value.I suspect people buy them as @rhyno said, to make that clone rifle perfectly spec.
They look almost like butler creek flip caps, I'd rather some Tenabrax or something at 1/20th the price.

The reason they start with The Marines is because otherwise it's over before they figure out what's going on.

After what we did to the rifle I don't think the USMC stamp will add any extra value...I just think it is cool. Anyone wanting it for the stamp will want it in original condition...or replica of some USMC rifle. I'm not worried about value though because this thing is not going to be sold.

I'm sure youre right, maybe on the original rifle when you bought it? I'm sure it added a few bucks to my 40xIf I had the choice of two identical rifles like your new 22, one that said USMC and one that didn't, I'd go USMC- because like you say, it looks cool. I'm not sure how much more I'd be willing to pay for it though.
It has value to someone.
