You can be too PC except it doesn't matter if you are a government employee trying to keep your head down until retirement and collecting the pension. You play the odds that the lunatic will get picked up by local PD or walk out in front of a bus. Nah, that loony would never actually commit an act of terror the FBI agent tells himself reassuringly. It isn't the government's responsibility to strip people of their constitutional rights BEFORE they commit a crime. No one is to blame for the shooting except the SHOOTER.
