PAIN RELIEF OINTMENT

  • Last night I was in a bit of pain and debating whether or not to take some Aleeve. I decided to give my essential oils a whirl first...using Wintergreen, Lemongrass, Frankincense, Rosemary and Peppermint in fractionated coconut oil. I mixed up it up real good, applied it to my sore joint and almost instantly the pain started residing. I'm continuously amazed at the power of Essential Oils. I highly recommend you add this to your medicine cabinet.

If you'd like to make more of a balm:

    .25 ounce of cacao butter
.5 ounce (or 1/8 cups) of beeswax

Put the cacao butter and the beeswax in a small pot and heat on low until melted and blended together. Don’t get it too hot. Just enough to melt. Allow to cool for a few minutes. Don’t let it start thickening though. Add the essential oils to the mixture. Stir. Pour into an old jar. Scoop a small amount and rub in deeply.
