I'm not sure if this rifle exists...
A friend of mine wants a short bull barreled (16-20 inches) 30 caliber bolt action with a detachable magazine. It would be a plus if the barrel was fluted, and the stock is more of a tactical style rather than a hunter. By the way, we need to stay under $1500.Any suggestions???

I'm liking the XLR over the B&C.
The chassis gives you the DBM without any fitting issues and with the Tactical Buttstock you have the adjustable cheek riser, length of pull and vertical as well as cant adjustment in the buttpad.Right now they are giving $100 off if bought thru the 28th:

No fitting and ready to go is worth it.
Savings isn't that much with the B&C and the bottom metal added to it.That Cerakote 24" 308 is a deal.
