If there are features you would like to see available on Gunhive, please post them here!
Yes, the dashboard must be accessed from the main part of the site, rather than within the forums.
If you click guns, load data, classified, or black list... you'd see dashboard there in the menus.
The forum is still quasi-separate from the main parts of the site. Same login... but different infrastructure. (for the time being)
Everything went pretty well with the update. There were a few issues resolved this morning. Please start a new thread if you discover anything else broken or not working correctly.
Thank you for your patience and feedback!
News section is up.
So you're all officially reporters. If you see news you think we'll be interested in... post it up. Follow a basic format in your post.
Make a title that is descriptive and accurate. Post a picture if applicable. Post a link to your source article. Post a snippet of text. This means a PARAGRAPH OR TWO... not the entire article. Use a right arrow to quote text from the article. You see it here between quotes.
">If you use the arrow in front of a paragraph like this, it will show up like this."
If you use the arrow in front of a paragraph like this, it will show up like this.
Embedding video's and pictures work just like any other forum post.
@dddoo7 you can drop your Bullets from the Bible in the news section there going forward.
I had one years ago, never had that kind of issue out if it but damn it wad finicky. Mine was a custom crazy horse built by smith enterprises. The rifle was extremely accurate but very cranky so I got rid of it. Sounds like your on to something with the trigger group but I'm no expert. If you can't get it figured out I'd give smith enterprise a call they were pretty good people to work with navigation then and specialize in the m14 platform.
@irish while this site IS VERY mobile friendly, many of us use tapatalk for many other forums, it gives us one interface to access many conversations. it would be nice to include gunhive in that single interface.
You can upload directly from your phone to the website?
Yes. The main part of Gunhive functionality is the firearm profiles and the associated range reports. When submitting those reports you can attach a picture, which you upload directly to Gunhive.
The forums on Gunhive rely on 3rd party image hosting sites like imgur. This is desirable for many reasons, but user data security is very high on the list.
@dddoo7 Thank you for the post. We have been continuing to update GunHive based on user feedback and staff feedback. We added the ability to sort your firearms in your firearms Dashboard and changed a couple of the colors around in there too. It should make it easier to distinguish between buttons. A little bit back we also updated the homepage to reflect more of what GunHive has to offer. Other than that there shouldn't really be much noticeable difference from yesterday and today. If you notice anything not listed above or thing something is really out of place please feel free to post it in here or send me a message and I will look into it right away.
Thank you for your time and continued use of GunHive.com!
Thank you for the updated bug report. We are still working on resolving this issue. If there are any other issues you find please post them up here and we will check into it.
We've come up with a better way of doing this. It's going to take a short bit to get implemented, so hang in there. When we get the change done, I'll be sure to update in here so you guys can check your load data entries and ensure the correct cartridges are listed.
